- My passport isn’t eligible for VOA—can you still help me travel?
Yes. You can enter on a Visit Visa (B211A/C-type) issued for 60 days on arrival and extendable. Many Visit Visa categories require an Indonesian guarantor/sponsor; we coordinate this with licensed local partners as permitted by Immigration so you don’t have to hunt for one.
We’ll confirm your category (tourism, family visit, business meetings, etc.), assemble the sponsor paperwork if needed, and manage extensions so you can stay compliant for up to the permitted maximum.
- Do I need to visit the Indonesian Embassy in the UAE or give biometrics?
For e-VOA and most Visit Visa cases, you apply online—no biometrics or in-person interview required. If a consulate appointment is ever needed (certain non-tourist cases), we’ll book it and prep your file.
If you need a consular service for another reason (e.g., legalization), the Indonesian Consulate General in Dubai runs an appointment portal—we’ll handle your slot if it becomes relevant.
- What documents do I need as a UAE resident applying for Indonesia e-VOA or Visit Visa?
For e-VOA you typically need: passport (6+ months validity on arrival), a passport-style photo, email address and a bank card for the online fee; officers may ask to see a return/onward ticket on arrival. For a Visit Visa, expect the passport, photo, completed online form, and trip details; extra documents can be requested based on purpose.

- Do UAE residents need a visa to visit Indonesia (Bali, Jakarta, etc.)?
It depends on your passport nationality, not your UAE residency. Most popular passports in the UAE can enter with a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or apply online for an Electronic VOA (e-VOA) before flying. UAE passport holders are on the VOA list; many other nationalities are, too. A smaller group of passports have visa-free entry (mainly ASEAN) or must apply for a Visit Visa before travel—ask us to check yours the same day.

- What’s the fastest way to apply from Dubai — e-VOA, VOA at the airport, or a Visit Visa?
For short trips (≤30 days), e-VOA is the quickest and smoothest: apply online, then breeze through on arrival; Indonesian Immigration advises applying at least 48 hours before departure. The e-VOA is valid for 30 days and can be extended once inside Indonesia for another 30 days.
If you need more than 30 days or your passport isn’t eligible for VOA/e-VOA, we arrange the Visit Visa (often called B211A)—issued for 60 days on entry and extendable. We’ll advise which is best after a quick passport check.
- Can I extend my stay beyond 30 days?
Yes. VOA/e-VOA gives 30 days and is extendable once (total up to 60 days) at an Indonesian Immigration office. If you already know you want more than 30 days, we’ll start you on a 60-day Visit Visa (commonly extended further).
Overstaying in Indonesia carries a fine of IDR 1,000,000 per day and can lead to detention or a ban—please don’t risk it. We’ll calendar your extension window and guide you to the nearest office to stay fully compliant.
- I’m flying to Bali—what is the new tourist levy and do I have to fill any arrival forms?
Bali charges a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 per arrival (all ages). Pay it online via the official Love Bali site/app and keep the QR voucher for scanning at checkpoints.
Indonesia also requires the Electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD) for every arriving traveler (one per family is allowed). Complete it within 2–3 days before arrival at the official ecd.beacukai.go.id and save the QR—officers will scan it in the customs area. It’s free; avoid look-alike sites. We’ll send you both official links before you fly.
- How long does Indonesia visa processing take?
e-VOA can be issued very quickly once submitted correctly, with Immigration advising to file at least 48 hours before your flight. Visit Visa (tourist/visit) applications are usually processed in about five working days when documents are complete.

- Are children and infants treated differently for e-VOA/VOA?
