Do I need to attend in person? Can Green Apple submit for me?
The Embassy requires in-person submission/interview after online pre-analysis. If you truly can’t attend, the mission allows you to email them to check if a P.R.O. can apply on your behalf—we handle that request and, when authorized, represent you.
What counts as a “notarized invitation” if I’m staying with family/friends?
Brazil requires a host invitation with signature notarized in Brazil (cartório) or a digitally signed invitation sent by the host—either is acceptable. If you’re not using hotel bookings, we’ll brief your host on the exact wording plus ID/CNPJ details the mission expects.
We’ll also align the invitation dates with your flight plan and bank proofs; consistent dates and a credible funding plan are key to quick approvals.
How long can I stay and who decides that at the border?
A standard visitor visa is issued for short visits with a maximum stay of up to 90 days per the VIVIS rules. That’s the upper limit; your actual admission and stay length are confirmed on arrival by Brazil’s Federal Police.
Remember: a visa is permission to seek entry, not a guarantee. Border officers can ask for hotel proofs, funds, return ticket, or insurance at arrival—so we make sure you carry a neat “arrival pack.”
Where exactly do I submit in the UAE—and what if my passport is e-Visa eligible?
Sticker-visa files for UAE residents are handled through Brazil’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi via the E-Consular workflow (form, pre-analysis, appointment). We take you through each step and align your travel dates with available slots (the system opens booking within the next 45 days).
I’m traveling for meetings. What’s different for a Brazil business visit?
Business travel under VIVIS (Business) is allowed for short-term activities like meetings, fairs, audits, or contract signing. You’ll need a Brazilian company letter on letterhead, usually in Portuguese, with CNPJ, describing purpose/dates—and the signature should be notarized in Brazil or digitally signed. We coordinate this with your host so it meets consular format.
From the UAE side, we prepare your employer NOC, align hotel/flight proof with the meeting agenda, and ensure funds/insurance are adequate for the stated stay—so the file reads like a coherent business case.
Is a Yellow Fever certificate required for Brazil?
Not required by Brazil for entry, but recommended—and the shot should be taken at least 10 days before departure. If you’re transiting via/coming from certain countries, airlines or other jurisdictions might have their own checks; we’ll confirm this against your routing.
We include vaccination guidance in your pre-travel brief and add it to your arrival pack if applicable.
Do children or family travelers need extra paperwork?
Minors under 12 aren’t required to appear at the Embassy; parents/guardians can submit on their behalf. For family trips, carry originals/copies of birth/marriage certificates in a language the mission accepts; if your civil documents aren’t in English/Portuguese/Spanish, the Consulate may ask for sworn translations. We’ll advise the exact path for your case.
If you’re staying with relatives, align the host invitation and family relationship proofs; we package that alongside your travel insurance and funding proofs to keep the narrative consistent.
Do I actually need a Brazil visa if I live in the UAE?
Visa need is based on your passport nationality, not where you live. Many nationalities are visa-exempt for short visits (up to 90 days), while others require a visitor visa (VIVIS) before travel. We check your passport against the official country list to confirm if you’re exempt or need a visa—no guesswork.
For a few nationalities (e.g., U.S., Canada, Australia) Brazil re-introduced e-Visas; those applications are filed online only via the official VFS eVisa portal from April 10, 2025. If your passport isn’t eligible for e-Visa, we route you through the Embassy/Consulate process in the UAE.
